Kitty Hawk Flyer – An ultralight electric flying machine
The Kitty Hawk is startup company from Silicon Valley, backed by Larry Page from Google, but also all electric personal flying machine, called the Flyer.
Kitty Hawk Flyer and one-seat, a propeller-driven vehicle is designed for use over fresh water and does not require riders to have a pilot’s license. As it’s classed by the FAA as an ultralight aircraft, it “may be flown in uncongested areas of the US” for recreational purposes.
The version that you can see in the video is not ready for the market, and Kitty Hawk reckons that a production version of The Flyer will go on sale by the end of this year. registration or a pilot’s license and will go on sale by the end of the year.
