The G2460PF is a gaming monitor, and it’s not shy about it. One glance at it, and the red highlights and the brushed metal texture of the bezels confirm it.

With AMD FreeSync compatibility, the G2460PF is best-suited to machines with Radeon graphics cards. When I tested the system with an Nvidia GPU, the frame rates were a little lower, but nothing that the naked eye would notice.

Its low input lag, speedy refresh rates, and multiple gaming presets will appeal to gamers of all stripes, and its generous feature set provides lots of connectivity options and ergonomic adjustments.

However, the AOC G2460PQU can achieve 144Hz rate only when connected via the DVI-D port. Once you’ve connected your monitor to the port, you will be able to run the latest and high demanding games with over 100 frames per second if you have a powerful graphics card.

The AOC G2460PF is considered to be an entry-level gaming product, but for its price and its performance, It will not disappoint gamers and most home users, especially those who are coming from aging or regular monitors.

It’s always nice to find a 144Hz monitor with a 1ms response time supporting AMD FreeSync. It’s even nicer to know you can get one of these monitors for a very affordable price.

The screen quality is great for the money and the AMD FreeSync capability gives more for your money than a regular 144Hz monitor in our opinion.

Not the best, but still a good entry-level cheap 144Hz monitor with the support of AMD Freesync technology. FreeSync in combination with 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time will produce an improved gaming experience when you compare it to a regular monitor.

The AOC G2460PF does, however, thanks to the latest firmware, which enables FreeSync between 35 and 144Hz. It and the larger G2770PF are now shipping with that code.

The saving grace for this monitor and indeed its major selling point is the inclusion of AMD FreeSync variable refresh rate technology. We can’t deny that this was a significant bonus that improved the playability massively in those common situations where frame rate starts to fall below the refresh rate of the monitor.

AOC G2460PF is a variable 144Hz refresh rate panel from AUO and has an Adaptive Sync. The monitor’s front is a quite familiar style to past AOC gaming monitors such as the G2460PG.

Speaking of gaming, this is an area where the G2460PF really shines. Playing on a screen with FreeSync is a lovely experience as screen tearing is eliminated and there’s no feeling of input lag.
