Image quality is definitely the main attraction for the BenQ HT2150ST. The picture is bright and sharp from corner to corner, with excellent color and contrast performance. We were particularly pleased with how great performance was out of the box.

The BenQ HT2150ST Gaming Projector is as perfect a projector for serious gaming as we have yet seen. It combines a rapid 16 ms input lag with low fan noise, ample light output, fully saturated and balanced color, a short throw lens, and some very decent onboard audio in the event you don’t have an external audio system handy.

The HT2150ST makes a great vehicle for serious gaming. Using the calibrated settings above, I took Gears of War 4 for a spin, as I’ve never played the game on such a large screen before. Colors popped and contrast was excellent, with very little blurring to be seen.

With all the unit has to offer, the BenQ HT2150ST is probably the best bang-for-your-buck projector, particularly if you’re a big video game person who wants a big screen with almost zero lag time. It’s a dream come true really.

In the end, the BenQ HT2150ST is a pure 1080p, gaming projector and it should be judged like that. If you don’t care about 4K much and you are serious about your gaming entertainment but at the same time you are worried about your budget then there is no better projector to consider than this one.

The BenQ HT2150ST is an award-winning projector from the brand who consistently ranks at the top in the display tech market. This model only requires five feet to project a 100-Inch screen, making installation and configuration in any room easy.

Among all the DLPs I’ve watched, the HT2150ST is one of the best. It has a superb lens and a clear bright picture, and more than enough output to work equally well in a completely dark room or one with some ambient lighting.

When it comes to gaming, BenQ delivered. The response time was fantastic! Definitely, the lowest input lag I have ever experience with a projector. That is one of my biggest gripes with TV manufacturers these days. There needs to be a better focus on reducing input lag.

With the lights dimmed or off, the brightness, color and image quality are great. It all depends on if you have a giant screen or a big blank wall and enjoy watching movies or playing video games in a dimly lit room.

The HT2150ST is the updated version of the excellent HT2050, and the ST indicates it is a short-throw model needing only 5 feet to project a 100-inch picture. At that distance, you can have the projector placed in front of you and not worry about any shadows on the screen.

The BenQ HT2150ST uses a short-throw lens, so you can place it much closer to your screen or wall than usual and still get a large image. This 1080p DLP projector is very bright and easy to set up.
