The VLC’s default menus language is set to “Auto“. This means, that the program picks the language of your operating system. So, if you choose English during the installation process, but the system language of your Windows or Mac is Spanish, then the VLC app will open and use the Spanish interface/menu language.
That is because the installation language doesn’t affect the language settings of the VLC player.
