How To Contact Someone On YouTube (A Simple Guide)

First introduced in January of 2017, YouTube Messages allowed users to share videos and other messages with each other. It was a great feature to contact someone on YouTube without the need of knowing its email.

Since YouTube already terminated this feature in September 2019, you have to contact other creators by their business inquiry emails.

According to YouTube: “We’re constantly reevaluating our priorities and have decided to discontinue YouTube’s native direct messaging feature while we focus on improving public conversations.

However, most YouTubers have their business contact info on their About page. Just go there to reach them, if you have a business proposal.

The About page of YouTube´s channel is also a great place, where you can find their other social media accounts or website which will make it even easier to contact them.

How To Contact Someone on YouTube From PC

 

 

STEP 1: Go to the YouTube.com

STEP 2: Enter the user’s name into the Search box at the top of YouTube. For example, if you’re looking for the user “nechstar” input the name into the search box and press Enter.

STEP 3: Click on the user´s name from the list of channels and videos.

STEP 4: Click on the About tab

STEP 5: Find the Details section and click on the View email address button. You should see an email address that the YouTuber is using for business inquires.

STEP 6: Also, check out the Links section to see if there are any links to their social media accounts or websites.
