How to make Statute or Section symbol in Google Docs and MS Word

MS Word

STEP 1: Open a document, click on the Insert tab, click the Symbol button, and then select More Symbols.

STEP 2: Click on the Special Characters tab and find the Section symbol on the list.

Google Docs

STEP 1: Open a document in Google Docs, and click on the Insert in the upper menu.

How to Make Statute or Section Symbol on the Keyboard

Using a special code is another way to insert a section or statute symbol into your document.

Luckily, these codes work on both, Google Docs and MS Word.

You can insert the statute symbol by toggling the NumLock key ON, and holding the Alt key, and then typing 0167 on the numeric keypad. Then release the Alt key.

Or you can use the combination of Alt key and 21 on the numeric keypad.
