Since the beginning of the pandemic, a lot of us have had to work from home.
Meetings and voice calls made over the internet are standard these days.
If you are one of the people who are working from home and are using a laptop for video calls, you definitely notice one thing.
Most laptops still come with crappy webcams.
If you want to improve your online meetings or voice calls, then the Movo WebMic HD Pro may be the right device for you.
The Movo WebMic is a versatile all-in-one device, a mix of a high-definition web camera, ring light, and a built-in microphone.
It comes in two main models: HD Pro and 4K Pro, where the HD Pro version is getting a 1080p camera with a 30 fps refresh rate and the second version has a 4K camera with 25 fps.
Both webcams have a microphone with a directional pattern to focus only on your voice, control adjustment knob, and physical mute function.
There is also an audio jack that comes in handy if you want to plug in your headphones and monitor playback in real-time.
The Movo WebMic has two ways to use it. You can easily mount it on your monitor with an included adjustable clamp or place it on your desk with an included stand. “If you need more versatility or prefer a top-down shot, you can attach the WebMic to our ASM-5 studio boom arm.”
