Luckily, there is a simple way how to prevent those apps from stealing CPU cycles and helping drain your laptop battery.
Stop Apps Running In The Background Of Windows 10
STEP 1: Click the Start button, and go to the Settings app.
STEP 2: Find the Privacy option and click on it.
STEP 3: In the left sidebar, find the Background apps and tap on it. You should see a list of all the apps that are running in the background.
STEP 4: Now, toggle the on/off setting for every app that you don’t want to use.
