TP-Link Archer C9 AC1900 – Expert Reviews And Ratings

With the Archer C9, though, TP-Link has created perhaps the first AC1900 router I can flat out recommend. It’s not the fastest by any stretch but it can deliver the sort of speeds you’d hope for from AC1900 when required but does so without breaking the bank.

The Archer C9 doesn’t look like much, but performed way outside its paygrade on every test we threw its way.

For the price, though, it’s a worthy AC1900 choice. The Archer C9 doesn’t look like much but performed way outside its paygrade on every test we threw its way so well worth considering for your next router.

TP-Link have upped their game with the Archer C9, offering a higher mid-range router for an extraordinary price point. I’ve noticed that seems to be the trend recently for the tech world.

The TP-Link Archer C9 is a budget router. As such, we didn’t anticipate any record-breaking score in throughput tests at this price range. You should too. All you do is plug it, and hope that it should bod for streaming and gaming, without expecting blazing packages over your connected devices.

Is the Archer C9 a good wireless router? We think it is a decent router although slightly dated in today’s standard.
By MBReviews – 87%
To conclude, we can say that the TP-Link Archer C9 is a really good AC1900 router. Although it isn’t as features-rich as the Linksys WRT1900ACS or doesn’t reach the high speeds of NETGEAR Nighthawk R7000…

Everything considered, we are quite impressed by the TP-Link Archer C9 AC1900 Dual Band Wireless Router. It offers an impressive feature set considering the price positioning of the unit, competing with a significantly more expensive units.

If you have a modem and looking to expand your WiFi capabilities than the AC1900 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router is definitely a very easy to use product that boasts some great performance capabilities.
By Hexus – N/A
The router delivers high-wireless throughput that gets the most out of the Broadcom AC1900 hardware it deploys, making it an ideal solution for home users with an array of high-performance AC, and non-AC, devices.
By SmallNetBuilder – N/A
I doubt the Archer C9 will repeat the success of the Archer C7. Like the C8, it doesn’t have a price advantage, being priced around most other AC1900 routers in the $170-ish range. (I was shocked to see Linksys’ WRT1900AC still up at $250!)
By Nechstar – N/A
The TP-Link AC1900 is not the fastest routers out there by any means but it is able to deliver speeds you’d hope from a good router which is connected to several smart devices.
