How To Update Google Chrome In Windows 10 and On Android

  • You can update Google Chrome on your computer with Windows 10 in just a few clicks.
  • Luckily, Google Chrome updates automatically on desktop computers, but sometimes, you have to manually update.
  • When you update Google Chrome, nothing will change regarding your data, saved passwords, or bookmarks.

 

Having the latest version of Google Chrome is important. This most popular browser comes almost every month with a new update that is fixing bugs, adding new features, and improves security

Luckily, Google Chrome updates are made automatically when the browser is running. You can see when Chrome has an update because an arrow icon will appear in the upper-right corner of the browser. 

But sometimes, you will need to update your browser manually. For this situation, we´ve prepared a simple tutorial on how to update Google Chrome in Windows 10 to the latest version. 

Update Google Chrome In Windows 10

 

STEP 1: Open Google Chrome on your Windows. 

STEP 2: In the top-right corner, click on the three dots icon.

STEP 3: In the drop-down menu, click on Help and then select the About Google Chrome menu option. Opening this page will automatically initiate the update process.

STEP 4: Once the browser updates, you might need to click on the Relaunch button to reopen Chrome.

 

Update Google Chrome On Android

STEP 1: Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.

STEP 2: Find the Tap menu, and click on My apps & games.

STEP 3: If an update for Google Chrome is available, you will see it under the Updates section.

STEP 4: Click on Update next to the Google Chrome app name, to start the update process.
